EASTMORELAND COLONIAL

SCROLL DOWN TO VIEW MORE

My husband and I moved into this lovely Colonial house in 2005, and it has been a work-in-progress ever since. Recessed lighting was added to all main floor rooms first, and the living room fireplace was re-faced with taupe stone. My personal style is traditional - I love French and English antiques, with a few Asian accessories tossed into the mix. All paintings in the living room are by Janet Pressman.

We remodeled the kitchen in 2011, with classic black and white marble floors, white cabinets, Mysore black granite countertops, and full-height Carrara marble backsplashes. This remodel was featured in the 2014 issue of Decorating Shortcuts.

The master bedroom recently received a makeover by removing the draperies, reupholstering a chair, and changing the paint and bed linens. My drawings for client projects replaced the botanical prints previously on the walls.
